60% of U.S. Consumers want to switch to a Self-Driving Model according to a new report- Self-Driving Vehicles: Consumer Sentiments- from the Consumer Technology Association (CTA).
Three in four consumers are excited for the benefits of self-driving vehicles. According to CTA research, consumers are most excited about reduced driving-related accidents, the monetary savings on car insurance and new mobility options for people with disabilities.
According to the 93% of drivers who use driverless-assist features, like adaptive cruise control, collision avoidance and parking assist, are satisfied with these innovations. Almost half of nonusers seek to upgrade to vehicles with driver-assist technologies.
