Facebook, Amazon, Twitter and YouTube in bidding war for “Thursday Night Football”

Facebook, Amazon, Twitter and YouTube are in bidding war for “Thursday Night Football”, as NFL is selling the rights to stream the games next season, according to Recode.

Last year the same deal was won by Twitter with $10 million bid for the right to stream 10 games. According to Twitter last season on average 3.5 million people on average watched each game.

The streams are not exclusive as such kind of distribution is done by NBC or CBS, NFL Network and Verizon.
