Nintendo Switch available at 600+ Best Buy Stores

The new Nintendo Switch console will be available at more than 600 Best Buy stores starting at 12:01 a.m. local time this Friday, March 3.

Quantities will be limited and the console will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The stores will have a ticketing process for customers waiting in line.

Find it on Apple News

If you pre-ordered and arrive before the opening time, you’ll have to wait in line to pick up your Switch.

Nintendo’s first console since 2012’s Wii U, can be played in multiple modes. You can dock it and play on your TV for a big-screen experience, or undock Switch for “handheld mode” and play on the go. Or, you can bump out its rear kickstand for “tabletop mode” to play with friends anywhere.

The left and right controllers — called Joy-Cons — can be used with the screen or detached from it. They’re motion sensitive, too, just like the Wii remote.
