Verizon with promotion for veterans

For a limited time, all active military members and veterans who switch to Verizon and purchase a new smartphone can get a $200 Visa prepaid card per line.

“This offer is just a small way of saying thanks to our military members and veterans who make and have made such brave sacrifices to protect our freedom,” said Tami Erwin, executive vice president of operations at Verizon.

Verizon has been a long time supporter of the military. Military service members and veterans receive 15 percent off wireless service, 25 percent off select accessories, and discounts on fios service. Verizon also employs a veteran workforce of approximately 10,000, and has been recognized with several awards for its support of the military including:
